Your Child Has Something to Say. Let’s Help Them Write It Down.
A story they keep telling. A world they have imagined. A poem, an idea, a question or an experience worth sharing.
We help children and teens aged 6–17 grow into confident, creative and independent writers through live online writing classes, personal projects and real authorship.

They Don’t Wait to Become Writers
At FanPen, learners learn to write by writing. From the beginning, they create stories, poems and other writing of their own. As their skills grow, they learn to develop ideas, shape their writing, choose their words with care, understand their readers and improve their own work.
Four Stages. One Growing Writer.

Wonder
6-8 years
Building confidence and a love for writing.
02
Discovery
9-11 years
Exploring ideas and finding their voice.
03
Inquiry
12-14 years
Developing craft and writing with purpose.
04
Horizon
15-17 years
Greater independence and a wider world of writing.
The Five Writing Journeys
Every learner grows through Five Writing Journeys.
1. Ideas & Imagination
Finding, exploring and developing ideas worth writing about.
2. Story & Structure
Turning ideas into clear, engaging and well-shaped pieces of writing.
3. Language & Craft
Using words, sentences, description, dialogue, imagery and other writing techniques to make their writing stronger.
4. Purpose, Audience & Voice
Understanding why they are writing, whom they are writing for, the effect they want to create and gradually developing a voice of their own.
5. The Writing Process
Planning, drafting, receiving feedback, revising, editing, proofreading and improving their work until it is ready for publishing.
Along the way, learners strengthen their grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary, and become better at composition and essay writing.
Skills That Stay With Them
Learning to write builds more than writing skills. Learners develop creativity, observation, storytelling, communication and empathy. They learn to organise their thoughts, express themselves with confidence and see the world from perspectives beyond their own.
These are skills they can carry into school, further studies, future careers and everyday life.
